Bob Hatch is the founder and CEO of Cereal Ingredients, formed in 1990. Prior to forming CII, Bob was Chairman and CEO of Interstate Bakeries, then the nation’s second largest independent wholesale baker. He began his food career, spending 22 years with General Mills in various roles, reaching Executive Vice President before being recruited to IBC. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College (’60) and a Masters of Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School of Business (’62), Dartmouth College.
President and Chief Operating OfficerJack WaldronJack Waldron – President, Chief Operating Officer

Jack is based at the headquarters in Kansas and has been with Cereal Ingredients since 2000. Jack served as CII’s Chief Financial Officer from 2000 to 2013, and now holds the position of President, Chief Operating Officer. He has 30+ years of manufacturing experience as a CFO and Controller, and holds a MBA in Finance and a BSBA in Accounting and Management.

Jim has been with Cereal Ingredients since the company’s inception 23 years ago and is based at the headquarters in Kansas. Jim has over 48 years experience in the baking industry, many of those years in R&D, Technical Service at the Bakery plant level, and ingredient sales. Jim has been Executive Vice President of Sales for CII since 1998 with six Regional Sales Managers reporting to him.

Toby is based at the headquarters in Kansas and joined Cereal Ingredients in 2013. Toby brings to CII 18 years of accounting experience. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, as well as earned his license as a CPA.
VP, OperationsTimothy D. Moore Timothy D. Moore – Vice President, Operations

Tim has been with Cereal Ingredients since 1998, and heads up CII’s entire manufacturing operations, both cold and cooked extrusion, consisting of 4 production lines in two facilities. Tim has over 20 years experience in extrusion, operations and maintenance of production equipment. He was instrumental in the design and construction of the CII facility completed in 2005.

Scott joined Cereal Ingredients in 2000 and is based at the headquarters in Kansas. Scott has 20+ years experience in the particulate business. Scott’s degree in Food Science & Human Nutrition from University of Missouri and wealth of experience gives Scott the opportunity to work with many of CII’s key accounts, both domestic and international. Bruce is based in Tampa, Florida, and is responsible for sales to key accounts primarily in the Eastern and Southern regions of the United States. Bruce has been with Cereal Ingredients since 2003 and has over 35 years of experience in the bakery industry, ranging from management, production, sales, product development, to R&D. He is a graduate of Dunwoody Institute, Bakery Technology.

Joseph is based in the St. Louis, Missouri area, and is responsible for key accounts primarily in the Northeast U.S. region, including marketing of branded and private label products and management of broker network. Joseph joined Cereal Ingredients in 2008 and has over 25 years of diverse experience working with consumer products companies, chain stores, commercial bakeries and distributors.

Bob has 40+ years of research and development experience in the confectionary and food industries, specializing in the bit and inclusion segment for the most recent 18 years. He is named on a number of food related patents issued during the last 25 years, and enjoys the challenge of each new project he works on.

John is based at the headquarters in Kansas and is responsible for all aspects of quality assurance including QA/QC, Food Safety, Food Security, Regulatory, Audits, (internal, external, customer, & 3rd party) and maintaining GFSI Certification under BRC. John also plays an essential role in maintaining Sanitation. John joined Cereal Ingredients in 2001, has over 15 years of experience in management with more than 10 years in food quality, and is a member of IAFP.
